Clinical Office Manager & CADC-I
Jess is our Clinical Office Manager and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Intern. She joined Insights in Recovery in July 2022 and is currently working toward her associate’s degree in Addiction and Recovery at Gaston College. Known for being dedicated, compassionate, and non-judgmental, Jessica finds joy in being a step in someone’s staircase to sobriety. She loves connecting with clients, being someone they can lean on, and celebrating their victories—big or small.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys crafting of all kinds, including crocheting, resin art, and vinyl projects, as well as challenging herself with different types of puzzles. At home, she and her family love watching movies, dancing (even with “two left feet”), and listening to music together. A fun fact about Jessica is that she enjoys baking, even though she’s not much of a sweets eater herself!
Clinical Office Administrator & CADC-R
Brittany joined our team in June 2025 as the Clinical Office Administrator. She has been working in the substance use treatment field since 2022 and is excited to continue growing in her role as a CADC-R. Brittany loves being able to support and encourage people as they move forward in their recovery journey.
When she’s not at work, you can usually find her curled up with a good book, crocheting, or spending time with her family. She also has a growing book collection that she’s very proud of!
Spanish-Speaking Services, SAIOP Intern
Michelle serves as a facilitator for the Spanish DWI Services program and as an intern for the Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP). She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and working toward certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC).
With three years of experience in the mental health field and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Criminal Psychology, Michelle brings both knowledge and empathy to her work. Growing up in a large and diverse Hispanic community inspired her passion for helping others, especially within the Hispanic population. Her background allows her to approach her work with genuine compassion, cultural understanding, and a deep love for supporting individuals in their recovery journey.
Michelle enjoys having a front-row seat to witness her clients’ daily commitment to bettering themselves and achieving their goals. Outside of work, she loves reading thrilling books, discovering new coffee recipes, and visiting local coffee shops. She also enjoys going to concerts with her family, taking walks with friends, and spending time with her sweet dog, Honey Mae!
A fun fact about Michelle is that during college, many of her friends were powerlifters, and she developed a love for the gym environment and cheering others on as they hit their personal records. One day, she hopes to compete in a powerlifting competition herself!
